Terms of service
Last updated: 1 October 2026
These terms apply to the website appsite.solutions and to the services we provide. By ordering a service from us you agree to them. Our services are provided to businesses.
1. Who we are
AppSite Solutions is a trading name of TheTechBrain Ltd, registered in England and Wales. Company number [to be added]. Registered office: 20 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU, United Kingdom.
WhatsApp: +44 7350 355269 · Email: hello@appsite.solutions
2. What you get
Our standard package (the Brand Pack) includes:
- App-style website – a mobile app-style version of your business, built from your existing website and/or your Google Business profile, with your branding, services, one-tap call and WhatsApp buttons, Google reviews, quote form, photos, location and opening hours, and a privacy page.
- Promo video – one video of about 30 seconds about your business, delivered as an MP4 file and also added to your website. You may post it on your own social media.
- A5 leaflet – delivered as a print-ready PDF.
- Business cards – front and back, delivered as a print-ready PDF.
- Hosting, SSL, security headers and a privacy page for the website – see sections 6 and 9.
Printing of the leaflet and business cards is not included. Extra features (for example visitor analytics, a QR code pack, extra pages, or a full desktop website) are separate and quoted on request.
3. How it works
- Free demo. We build a demo of your app-style website at no cost and with no obligation.
- Agreement and invoice. If you want to go ahead, you sign a short Service Agreement (an electronic signature by email or WhatsApp is valid) and we send an invoice.
- Payment. The invoice is paid in full before your website goes live, by bank transfer, PayPal or Stripe.
- Go live. We put the website live on our servers and deliver the video, leaflet and business card files. Most projects go live within 3–5 working days of payment and final content.
4. Price and promotions
The price is the price shown on your invoice. We sometimes run promotions; the price on your invoice is the final price for your order.
5. No refunds
6. Hosting
- We host your website on our hosting accounts (currently Vercel, with the code stored on GitHub). We may change provider; we will tell you if it affects you.
- We provide hosting on a best-efforts basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not responsible for outages caused by third-party providers (hosting, domain registrar, WhatsApp, Google) or by the internet generally.
- If your website has a bug, or is down because of something on our side, we fix it at no charge.
- We apply security headers and keep the website self-contained. Beyond that we are not responsible for the security of third-party services or of your own devices and accounts.
- We do not add analytics or tracking to your website unless you order it.
7. Changes and the Care Plan
- For 30 days after go-live we make reasonable content changes (text, photos, hours, services, prices) free of charge.
- After 30 days, content changes are covered by the optional Care Plan at £10 per month by Direct Debit, which includes up to 5 content changes a month. You can cancel it at any time; changes requested after cancellation are quoted individually.
- Bug fixes and downtime on our side are always free, whether or not you have the Care Plan.
- Larger changes (new sections, new features, redesign) are quoted separately.
8. Your domain name
- If you already own a domain, it stays yours. You keep it renewed with your registrar and we point its DNS to your website (we'll help with this).
- If you don't have a domain, we can register one for you. It is renewed yearly and the renewal fee is shown on your invoice. If the renewal fee is not paid within 14 days of our reminder, the domain may lapse and the website may go offline.
- If you stop using our service, we transfer any domain we registered for you to you free of charge.
9. Ownership and licence
- Your content is yours. Your business name, logo, photos, text, reviews, and the video, leaflet and business card files we deliver are fully owned by you.
- The website code is licensed to you, not sold. You may use it for your business for as long as we host it. You get access to the code on GitHub so you can see it at any time.
- Please do not edit, copy or move the code without our written approval. If the code is changed by anyone other than us, we may not be able to fix problems, and our free bug-fixing no longer applies.
- If you choose to move the website to your own hosting, we will give you a copy, but we are not responsible for hosting, bugs, security or updates after that.
- Our templates, tools and build process remain ours, and we use them for other clients.
10. Your responsibilities
- You confirm you own, or have permission to use, everything you give us (logo, photos, reviews, text) and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your content, including prices, opening hours and any regulated claims (for example Gas Safe, NICEIC, insurance or qualifications).
- We include a standard privacy page with every website as a legal minimum. It is your responsibility to make sure your website meets the laws that apply to your business – please check with a solicitor if unsure.
- You will reply to our questions and approve the demo and content in reasonable time so we can meet the timeline.
11. Portfolio
We may show your website, video, leaflet and business cards as examples of our work on our website and social media. If you'd rather we didn't, tell us in writing and we'll remove them.
12. Taking the website down
- You can ask us in writing to take your website down at any time. We remove it within 24 hours to 7 days. No refund is due.
- We may suspend or remove a website if an invoice (including a domain renewal) is unpaid after our reminder, or if the content is unlawful or harmful.
13. Liability
- Our total liability to you for anything arising from our services is limited to £500.
- We are not liable for loss of business, profit, enquiries, data or reputation, or for any indirect loss.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
14. General
- These terms, the Service Agreement and your invoice are the whole agreement between us. If they conflict, the Service Agreement wins.
- Electronic signatures and written approvals by email or WhatsApp are valid.
- These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
- We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. Changes do not affect orders already placed.
